Today it's time to talk about a sport that I love: badminton. In class we have begun working with the racquet and the shuttlecock (called "volante" in Spanish).
    We did some movements like:
-"To serve", which is the first movement of badminton and it consist in throwing the shuttlecock from under your hips to start the game.
-"To serve", which is the first movement of badminton and it consist in throwing the shuttlecock from under your hips to start the game.
-"To drop": you have to leave the shuttlecock fall into the floor next to the net, so your oponent can't hit it.
-"To lob/clear": you hit the shuttlecock high and far from the net, so the other player can't hit it.
-"Smash":you have to throw the shuttlecock down. It has to pass just over the net and go down, so your oponent will have no time to hit it.
You can play in doubles (two vs two) or one vs one, as you wish.
